Bottom Line
co-presented with Stephanie
Houseman DMD
The economy of
the past year has brought into focus the importance of the bottom line for
all dental practices. The bottom line can be a cause for rejoicing, or it
can provide the motivation to make some changes. Everyone in the practice
plays a role in the bottom line. This course will examine four topic areas
affecting daily outcomes:
-
Bottom line
clinical updates. What are the new/innovative options? Which ones fit
best and how can you start using them to positively affect patients and
the bottom line?
-
Bottom line
in communication styles. A discussion of personality styles leads to
answers to why you act the way you do. How can we all get along, from
doctor to team to patients?
-
Bottom line
in medical-dental connection. What’s the newest research? How can you
convey this important information to patients and the
community-at-large, as well as reaching out to physicians, nurses, and
hospitals? How can you create goodwill in your hometown?
-
Bottom line
in expectations. Everyone in a dental practice has expectations,
including your patients. What are they? What is the E-gap and why does
it matter? How can you make your expectations clear and how can you
ensure they are met? What to do if they are not met?
